Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 23rd minute of play. Marcelo Cavenaghi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jose Boldu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Flavio Cifuentes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Boldu having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zoil Pequeño came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Boldu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 75th minute of the match. Obregón Pardemanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Boldu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Obregón Pardemanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Boldu was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
