In the 11th minute Jari Alenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dibag Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Jari Alenius came free, but Dibag Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, NAGANO F.C's Jari Alenius made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dibag Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 33rd minute of play. Thorbjörn Hong hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jari Alenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 37th minute of play. Jari Alenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, NAGANO F.C's Erk Hong got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in NAGANO F.C's zone, Mati Suárez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vellito Alguerdo came out of the goal and Mati Suárez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Jari Alenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jari Alenius in the 54th minute of play forced La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jari Alenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pertti Koskenkorva in the 64th minute of the match. Bob Marley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vellito Alguerdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Dibag Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pertti Koskenkorva, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. NAGANO F.C made a substitution. Ariel Ortega replaced Bar Olo. After a rather tough play, La Pantera Azulgrana's Olaf Skaradowski got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jari Alenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NAGANO F.C's Gabriel Batistuta was substituted for Jari Alenius. When the referee ended the match the NAGANO F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
