In the 2nd match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Cifuentes to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Rosendo Salamon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zhang Hao Qing skillfully saved the ball. In the 7th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hao Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Misael made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Flavio Cifuentes sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Cifuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eustacio Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Cavenaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Misael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Guns And Roses from getting a goal against them. Eustacio Misael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Misael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Cavenaghi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustacio Misael came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcelo Cavenaghi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Eustacio Misael made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Flavio Cifuentes sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute of the match, Flavio Cifuentes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eustacio Misael was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 38 minutes Guns And Roses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norbert Dabrowski who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael got control of the ball when Flavio Cifuentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Flavio Cifuentes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eustacio Misael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Guns And Roses's Jesús Salvador was substituted for Alfonso Gilabert. Guns And Roses's Luis Admon was substituted for Segundo Bordat. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesús Salvador stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Iban's late challenge caught a Taltum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Iban helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Juan Iban. Eustacio Misael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Eustacio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 64th minute of play. Zhang Hao Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Salvador, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guns And Roses's Eustacio Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 81st minute of play. Eustacio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 84th minute of play. Flavio Cifuentes took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Misael. Eustacio Misael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The throw-in from Lucio Quilo in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Taltum FC's Norbert Dabrowski. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guns And Roses's goalkeeper Eustacio Misael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Guns And Roses's Jesús Salvador ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zhang Hao Qing. Zhang Hao Qing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Taltum FC had won after a very even match.
