The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Angelino Inautzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Eztebe. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Angelino Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. In the 13th minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Beckham in the 16th minute of the match. When Atlético Rio Cuarto's Angelino Inautzi in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC FUSION's goalie prevented a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Suarez during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Donato Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Dimas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Karlo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aureliano Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Karlo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Inautzi in the 30th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Carlos Eduardo da Silveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto Eztebe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bernardino Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Txindoki in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Karlo in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Dimas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 42nd minute of play. Atlético Rio Cuarto made a substitution. Humberto Francesco replaced Fernando Bras. After 48 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Germano Bettencourt. AFC FUSION were furious when Jonatan Maidana was red carded, 49 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 49 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AFC FUSION! AFC FUSION:s Roberto Eztebe showed great skill when he stopped Carlos Eduardo da Silveira:s penalty.

Donato Suarez was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 61 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Donato Suarez. In the 73rd minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Germano Bettencourt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 73 minutes into the match. Bernardino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Fiszer in the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Rio Cuarto's zone, Guido Txindoki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Dimas came out of the goal and Guido Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Mario Sesuldo. AFC FUSION's Mari Balotelli was substituted for Aureliano Karlo. Guido Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Dimas having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo da Silveira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Dawid Beckham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Dimas. Atlético Rio Cuarto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dawid Beckham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Bernardino Dimas was a little too slow when Guido Txindoki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-4. When the match was over AFC FUSION could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético Rio Cuarto throughout the match.
