La Pantera Azulgrana were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Arquímedes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mati Suárez took the corner. La Pantera Azulgrana's Bob Marley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremias Cordario in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bob Marley sped through Arquímedes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias Cordario. 24 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Librado came free, but Dibag Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Pantera Azulgrana's Orlando Bloom got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Danilo Olayo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Dibag Martinez made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Fernando Nabar sent off a good shot on target. Angel Jaume's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Dibag Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Jaume got free with Dibag Martinez in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd match minute, Arquímedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Endura to maneuver through the defense. After 46 minutes of play, Arquímedes's Fernando Nabar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dibag Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bob Marley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Nabar in the 60th minute of play. Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Arquímedes Ladio came free, but Dibag Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Cordario was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bob Marley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 92 minute of play. Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dibag Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Jaume, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. La Pantera Azulgrana succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Arquímedes had controlled the match.
