Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 11th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peep Pronk in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Boldu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fulgencio Eyague made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 34th minute. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Deportivo ScrugenFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franky Flam didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peep Pronk to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Zoil Pequeño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvaro Errando had several of the Deportivo ScrugenFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Jose Boldu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Deportivo ScrugenFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
