Eustacio Misael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Chorache in the 11th minute of play forced Guns And Roses's goalkeeper Eustacio Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Feliciano Itzaina hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Guns And Roses's Gilbert Tidéksson got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 30th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Gilabert in the 41st minute of play forced ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Godfredo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guns And Roses's Anibal Rubio was substituted for Ismael Otsoko. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Itzaina to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ALEXANDRIA booed when Guns And Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesús Salvador didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes, ALEXANDRIA's Cipriano Marques shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustacio Misael came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ALEXANDRIA reached it. In the 57th minute of the game Gabin Doare made a throw-in which Feliciano Itzaina played forward. ALEXANDRIA's Enrique Ilazki was substituted for Feliciano Itzaina. In the 64th match minute, ALEXANDRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabin Doare to maneuver through the defense. ALEXANDRIA's Godfredo Obano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save ALEXANDRIA from getting a goal against them. Eustacio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ilazki in the 67th minute of play. When Gervasio Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the ALEXANDRIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Chorache couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, ALEXANDRIA's Godfredo Obano got control of the ball when Jesús Salvador tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Guns And Roses were awarded a corner. Lucio Quilo went to the cornerflag to take it. Rosendo Salamon took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Obano. Godfredo Obano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eustacio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ilazki in the 89th minute of play. ALEXANDRIA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Guns And Roses had controlled the match.
