A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zoil Pequeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baron Buffon having to interfere. Wilfredo Mero made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Peyami Hasanbeyli. 18 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper Baron Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoil Pequeño. Zoil Pequeño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Baron Buffon made a huge save. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuralp Başdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baron Buffon. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Baron Buffon made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Zoil Pequeño sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes in the game Wilfredo Mero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nuralp Başdemir. In the 37th minute Nuralp Başdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Boldu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo ScrugenFC defense, Nuralp Başdemir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Boldu. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Boldu should have stopped the shot. Baron Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoil Pequeño in the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Regis Padriña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Baron Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leobardo Padierna in the 77th minute of play.
