Rogelio Funes Mori might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantin Potocianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Funes Mori ran back to his position shaking his head. Al Wieczorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marcelo Armani made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Mapovihesa FC's Raimundo Erramu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Marcial Iratze got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Marcelo Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Erramu in the 27th minute. Marcelo Armani made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Raimundo Erramu sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Figueroa made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raimundo Erramu however managed to control. 46 minutes into the match, Thomás Barral notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu. Constantin Potocianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomás Barral to make the kick off. Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Iratze in the 54th minute of play. Mapovihesa FC's attentive Rafael Figueroa managed to snatch the ball when Gabriel Tulio made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Thomás Barral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Constantin Potocianu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcelo Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Iratze in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Thomás Barral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Usain Bolt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Armani having to interfere. Rejunte de perros made a substitution. Luis Artime replaced Remigio James. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Barral in the 74th minute of play forced Mapovihesa FC's goalkeeper Constantin Potocianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu got control of the ball when Iisakki Hilden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iisakki Hilden received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Constantin Potocianu came out and tried to block the shot, but Iisakki Hilden slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 77th minute. Gabriel Tulio made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cyrille Desplanches. 85 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iisakki Hilden came free, but Constantin Potocianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Gabriel Tulio in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mapovihesa FC's Romeo Pio. In the 90th minute Usain Bolt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcial Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Usain Bolt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Armani was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rejunte de perros eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
