Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argyris Zagorakis in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvinho Pinheiro got free with Isidoro Rio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Pfullendorf's David Moya quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wieslaw Zawada, made in the 30th minute of the game. Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bello Cura, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argyris Zagorakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Bello Cura tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kıvanç Yücesan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the last second Kıvanç Yücesan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bello Cura in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 56 minutes SC Pfullendorf's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gualterio Daunte who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice moves Ben-Ami Ranchin could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Kıvanç Yücesan however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Baldomiro Ospetsu got a free kick in the 67th minute. SC Pfullendorf's Czeslaw Wallach was substituted for Adrian Ibar. Kıvanç Yücesan was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Bello Cura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bello Cura really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The SC Pfullendorf supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Argentinean Patriots 1816's performance.
