With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bello Cura in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Frederik saved Leones FC from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Gaston Totakoxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bello Cura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Bello Cura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Frederik was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The Leones FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Argentinean Patriots 1816 were winning 0-3.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidoro Rio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match was over Argentinean Patriots 1816 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leones FC throughout the match.
