Argyris Zagorakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Eztebe having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Argyris Zagorakis in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Eztebe saved AFC FUSION from getting behind. With an all-out effort, SC Pfullendorf's Roberto Eztebe threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvinho Pinheiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mario Sesuldo's late challenge caught a SC Pfullendorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Sesuldo helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Sesuldo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AFC FUSION's zone, Argyris Zagorakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Eztebe came out of the goal and Argyris Zagorakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Argyris Zagorakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Silvinho Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Pfullendorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Moya in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Aureliano Karlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kıvanç Yücesan. SC Pfullendorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Karlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mario Sesuldo made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dawid Beckham however managed to control. Kıvanç Yücesan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Karlo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute of the game Hussein Bellido made a throw-in which Adrian Ibar played forward. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Argyris Zagorakis to make the kick off. Hussein Bellido made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham. In the 53rd match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Beckham to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Zagorakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kıvanç Yücesan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The AFC FUSION players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
