The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bello Cura made a kick off. A collision led to Argentinean Patriots 1816 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 64th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mapovihesa FC's Isidoro Rio threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Usain Bolt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Argentinean Patriots 1816 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mapovihesa FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
