Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Pinheiro in the 12th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kıvanç Yücesan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas-Ignacio Lugano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Zagorakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. David Moya made a great header on SC Pfullendorf's corner, it was just that Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite managed to reach the ball for a save.
