Hispania's Jairo Morientes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hispania defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Morientes. The Hispania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Morientes should have stopped the shot. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Morientes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jairo Morientes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Morientes. Hispania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quilino Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 23rd minute of play forced Hispania's goalkeeper Jairo Morientes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8.

52 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Jairo Morientes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Hispania getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gaitano Villar hit a great ball. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jairo Morientes made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes, Gaitano Villar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hispania and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordero Sánchez in the 68th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Morientes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. After 72 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Morientes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th play minute Edward Vanderstraeten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jairo Morientes. 0-13. After 84 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Morientes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quilino Talavera in the 88th minute of play. Jairo Morientes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-16 was the resulting score. Hispania's Gaitano Villar got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Gaitano Villar off the ground. The Hispania fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
