Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Samuele Kunz took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Pacifico. Virgilio Pacifico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Toto Škarpa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Toto Škarpa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hias Nüssli, passed just outside the right post. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toto Škarpa went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Virgilio Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's attentive Romulo Pere managed to snatch the ball when Gustav Iseli made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Romulo Pere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hias Nüssli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuele Kunz in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Pacifico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toto Škarpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match Romulo Pere sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hias Nüssli skillfully saved the ball. Toto Škarpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toto Škarpa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A well-hit corner resulted in Martin Endira heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Toto Škarpa took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 67th minute, one of Switzerland:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Switzerland. Toto Škarpa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hias Nüssli having to make a save. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toto Škarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Timo Siegmund hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Romulo Pere sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hias Nüssli skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute, Romulo Pere ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hias Nüssli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Romulo Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Godfredo George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Gustav Iseli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Romulo Pere quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo George in the 91st minute of play. When Godfredo George came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Patricio Rey Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo George couldn't finish the play.
