In the 11th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Strömqvist got free with Tommy Kahn in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Timmy Friberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björkö BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Timmy Friberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariusz Zdeb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Timmy Friberger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Elias Strömqvist sent off a good shot on target. Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Björkö BK's Timmy Friberger got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Björkö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Lundin to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Hans Kihlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björkö BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. A collision led to Björkö BK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hans Kihlman hit a great ball. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariusz Zdeb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The Björkö BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timmy Friberger to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Jeferson Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The throw-in from Linus Schwerner in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Björkö BK's Mauro Paixão. Mariusz Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Björkö BK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mauro Paixão hit a great ball. The supporters of Germany booed when Björkö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Germany's Frank Sachs tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mariusz Zdeb made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Björkö BK's Timmy Friberger got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Linus Schwerner in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Björkö BK's Mauro Paixão. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Strömqvist in the 92nd minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Björkö BK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Germany to win.
