After 21 minutes Zielonka Gdansk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anatoli Búnev who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luís Gustavo Pimenta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huang Kuan Liang in the 24th minute of play. Zielonka Gdansk were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Mesere's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ben Hart took the corner. Robert Augustyniak made a great header on Zielonka Gdansk's corner, it was just that Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng managed to reach the ball for a save. 28 minutes into the match, Mesere's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Pyrzyce came free, but Cai Fei Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cai Fei Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Augustyniak in the 47th minute of play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Pyrzyce got free with Cai Fei Cheng in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Paquito Berti. Mesere made a substitution. Mirande Pescatori replaced Placido Trabado. In the 77th minute, Paquito Berti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paquito Berti hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Zielonka Gdansk's Sebastian Pyrzyce got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Innocenzio Barcenas. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 95th minute of the game, when Walery Zawada after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Mesere's goal. Walery Zawada was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Mesere succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Zielonka Gdansk had controlled the match.
