Emil Miodek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Mesere got a corner. FC Lack's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anatoli Búnev ran over to the corner to take the kick. 34 minutes into the match, Zhou Gang Zhen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cai Fei Cheng. Mesere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhou Gang Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 41 minutes into the game, Cyprian Chmelyk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mesere's Serafin Cernadas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Frechoso to make the kick off. Hieronim Zima who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Cai Fei Cheng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Innocenzio Barcenas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Mesere's Edgard Maya was substituted for Luís Gustavo Pimenta. When the match was over FC Lack could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mesere throughout the match.
