Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kyle Cox made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 3rd minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Aaron Sarmiento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. Martin Rito might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Kennedy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Rito ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Rito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khalid Kennedy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Martin Rito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Khalid Kennedy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Sarmiento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leighton Davies to maneuver through the defense.

51 minutes into the game, Leighton Davies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. Leighton Davies hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye England's goalie prevented a goal. After 54 minutes, Martin Rito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarmiento de Resistencia and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Aaron Sarmiento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issac Dawson in the 56th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Rito went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. England's Leighton Davies got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Leighton Davies off the ground. In the 65th minute, Leighton Davies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Micah Macdonald made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Issac Dawson however managed to control. In the 68th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but Aaron Sarmiento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Martin Rito came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Rito couldn't finish the play. Arias Fabelo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Micah Macdonald. After having played for 84 minutes, Martin Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. England's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
