Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Galishoff started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes of play, Red Sox's Alex Cirigliano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Claudio Pan took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fabio Auer to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Leonhard Maier hit a great ball. The supporters of Red Sox booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Ciriglianos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Fabio Auer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 17 minutes, Claudio Pan made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Austria's Fabio Auer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Auer came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Red Sox's Claudio Pan. But to his dismay, Claudio Pan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Claudio Pan had several of the Austria's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Fabio Auer as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alex Cirigliano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-0 in the 29th playminute. The supporters of Austria booed when Red Sox was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Giampietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Cirigliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Cirigliano got free with Fabio Auer in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Claudio Pan sped through Austria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. In the 46th minute, Alex Cirigliano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Cirigliano to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristoforo Atroce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Alex Cirigliano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Sox fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Fabio Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alfredo Lucantoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Red Sox were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Austria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonello Zulli took the corner. If Alvaro Giampietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Cirigliano went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Alex Cirigliano made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Atroce in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Pan in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Sox's Cristoforo Orecchioni was substituted for Cristoforo Atroce. Red Sox's Concetto Pezzi was substituted for Claudio Pan. In the 82nd minute, Alex Cirigliano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cristoforo Orecchioni came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Red Sox fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Orecchioni couldn't finish the play. If Alex Cirigliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Cristoforo Orecchioni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Cristoforo Orecchioni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Austria's Leonhard Maier got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Alex Cirigliano took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. Red Sox walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
