Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) -BZF- The Elder Gods's Cazimir Zub started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute Oliver Holub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Văcăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cazimir Zub took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Henrich Slany to make any attempt to save it. -BZF- The Elder Gods's Petrică Dragu was substituted for Cazimir Zub. Liviu Văcăroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metod Mlynar in the 21st minute of play. Doru Crăiniceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Metod Mlynar made a precise shot to the right of Liviu Văcăroiu. -BZF- The Elder Gods's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petrică Dragu. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Crăiniceanu in the 41st minute of play. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Slovakia booed when -BZF- The Elder Gods was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Caloian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Pavol Koleno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Liviu Văcăroiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metod Mlynar was the one to do the kick off. Doru Crăiniceanu's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doru Crăiniceanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Doru Crăiniceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Liviu Văcăroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Metod Mlynar could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Liviu Văcăroiu however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kornel Jahoda hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Dragu came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of -BZF- The Elder Gods booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zigmund Maliar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Caloian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henrich Slany. Slovakia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Liviu Văcăroiu made a huge save. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Dragu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Petrică Dragu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The -BZF- The Elder Gods support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
