In the 34th minute of the match, Chesney Summers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gabriel Ascaso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 36 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabi Martinelli. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. Korona Kielce were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ray Atkins took the corner. The corner led to Korona Kielce's Marcin Kaczmarek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. Raimo Ülend showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Ruiz in the 87th minute of the match. Carles Cherro came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raimo Ülend could save by the left post.
