The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristopher de Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Italy's Eraldo Guzman threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sigfrido Auletta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Eraldo Guzman in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, Sigfrido Auletta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eraldo Guzman. Sigfrido Auletta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The supporters of Italy booed when Budget Goblins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobiasz Kornaszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Eraldo Guzman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Italy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
