KKP Spasione Kocury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrzej Gabis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartlomiej Rojewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Denmark's corner Chris Nygaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lech Rosen quite easily take care of the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lech Rosen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KKP Spasione Kocury's Andrzej Gabis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 44th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lech Rosen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Gabis in the 69th minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Fink in the 70th minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Gabis in the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lech Rosen saved KKP Spasione Kocury from getting behind. A collision led to KKP Spasione Kocury getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Juliusz Makomaski hit a great ball. KKP Spasione Kocury's Lech Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Andrzej Gabis made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The supporters of Denmark booed when KKP Spasione Kocury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Fink didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. Andrzej Gabis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Juliusz Makomaski made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Juliusz Fink. The supporters of Denmark booed when KKP Spasione Kocury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Rojewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KKP Spasione Kocury's goalie prevented a goal. Denmark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
