Portugal were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after THE CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. 14 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mincho Robledo. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Mincho Robledo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mincho Robledo got free with Wilson Amorim in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guo Ling Nan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Ling Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Portugal booed when THE CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dancho Chochov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guo Ling Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 30th minute of the match. Fabricio Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Mincho Robledo sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, THE CLUB's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dancho Chochov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of play forced THE CLUB's goalkeeper Guo Ling Nan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guo Ling Nan having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mincho Robledo to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Caetano Moreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guo Ling Nan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guo Ling Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Dancho Chochov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dancho Chochov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Mincho Robledo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. THE CLUB made a substitution. Renatinho Severo replaced Zhelyo Haynadzhiev. Guo Ling Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Felipinho Amorim notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of THE CLUB's Guo Ling Nan. Guo Ling Nan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Ling Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipinho Amorim scored 3-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guo Ling Nan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preslav Famparski in the 92nd minute of play. Preslav Famparski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
