Jarl Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of the match. Schmeissen FC's Jarl Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute of play. Jarl Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Gunnarsson. Schmeissen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Calle Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarl Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Eddie Tinglöf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Gunnarsson having to interfere. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Schmeissen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Lång didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarl Gunnarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calle Målare made a kick off. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Tinglöf in the 54th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Schmeissen FC's goal. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jarl Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Wu Kun Ling's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wu Kun Ling helped the player get up and apologised. 66 minutes into the game, one of Schmeissen FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute, Vincent Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Schmeissen FC's Jens Apelkvist was substituted for Axel Sandberg. After 74 played minutes Schmeissen FC got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Lindqvist. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
