Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Waller in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Ture Waller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Northland Vikings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Falk in the 16th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benne Benneborg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Ture Waller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ture Waller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 44th minute, Northland Vikings's Ture Waller ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Nicklas Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ture Waller to make the kick off. Ture Waller might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ture Waller ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Waller in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Ture Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Ture Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg got control of the ball when Viriato Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ture Waller went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. When Portugal's Daniel Pimentel in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Northland Vikings's goalie prevented a goal. Benne Benneborg made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Graciano Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. Ture Waller struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northland Vikings. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Northland Vikings's Ture Lundgren was substituted for Andreas Falk. Gao Peng Ran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. In the 75th minute Gao Peng Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Gao Peng Ran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Northland Vikings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gao Peng Ran went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipinho Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 92nd minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Northland Vikings's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
