The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hayden Baker was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Bryan Elwick came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the West Ham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Elwick couldn't finish the play. Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a West Ham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Bryan Elwick in the 28th minute really tested Tommy Kahn's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. West Ham's Hayden Baker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Hayden Baker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Laurentzi to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Laurentzi in the 54th minute of the match. A hard shot 56 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Hayden Baker managed to make a qualified save. West Ham's players were relieved. In the 61st minute, Severo Laurentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Severo Laurentzi made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Tommy Mayfield hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Hayden Baker made a huge save. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hayden Baker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, West Ham's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Hayden Baker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. In the 89th match minute, West Ham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Camfield to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. West Ham fully deserved thier win.
