Fredric Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Manuel Marchidan sped through Aston Villa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fredric Holmberg. 0-5 became the score in the 27th minute when Manuel Marchidan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Manuel Marchidan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredric Holmberg. Fredric Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After the first half Racing Club【LBF】 were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marcus Engström made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa FC's Jan Petersson got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 91st minute, Emanuel Obafuso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club【LBF】 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-15. 97 minutes into the game, Manuel Marchidan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Fredric Holmberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Racing Club【LBF】 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aston Villa FC throughout the match.
