Paunero's Desiderio Aureo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Markel to maneuver through the defense.

If Severino Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Severino Jatsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Santiago Urtats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
