In the 7th minute, one of Hagmoren BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hagmoren BK. In the 12th minute, Kevin Crouch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Dominik Giertych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Giertych kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Brian Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoakim Nakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hagmoren BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that İbrahim Efe Akarsu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brian Lambert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brian Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volkan Saltık, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Lisburn Distillery F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Clive Workman hit a great ball. Brian Lambert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Rosendahl in the 31st minute of play. Brian Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volkan Saltık, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Brian Lambert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volkan Saltık in the 40th minute of play. Yoakim Nakov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Lambert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Hagmoren BK got a corner. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İbrahim Efe Akarsu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hagmoren BK's İbrahim Efe Akarsu to fire away a dangerous shot which Brian Lambert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Freddy Lowe kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Booth to strike the kick off in the second half. Billy Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lasse Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Mellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Lambert having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Andrew Ross hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Elói Alagoano got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoakim Nakov got free with Brian Lambert in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hagmoren BK's Lasse Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Alagoano in the 60th minute of play. If Yoakim Nakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Booth in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lasse Eriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Volkan Saltık left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hagmoren BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Lisburn Distillery F.C. made a substitution. Jonathon Gates replaced Andrew Ross. Yoakim Nakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Brian Lambert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Lambert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Volkan Saltık showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. Volkan Saltık blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Lambert having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volkan Saltık got free with Brian Lambert in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
