Gasteiz Obies made a great header on Deportivo ScrugenFC's corner, it was just that Intimos de Reynoso's Chiquito Flores managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 18th match minute, Intimos de Reynoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Aumada to maneuver through the defense. Jacindo Trabado hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Alexander Callens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intimos de Reynoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo ScrugenFC the free kick. A collision led to Intimos de Reynoso getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alexander Callens hit a great ball. After 45 minutes of play Intimos de Reynoso's Isaias Murga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francis Cesura to make the kick off. Cirilo Bobe charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chiquito Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Mazule in the 57th minute of play. Francis Cesura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquito Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Marcial Mazule who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intimos de Reynoso's Chiquito Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when Deportivo ScrugenFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cuarto Marzana didn't get a good kick on the ball.
