With a little luck, DINAMO's Marcel Anisie got control of the ball when Celedonio Labra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Șerban Damian made a precise shot to the right of Gotzon Ecija. Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Bobocea came free, but Gotzon Ecija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joam Blazquez was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joam Blazquez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcel Anisie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joam Blazquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Marcel Anisie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yoel Vizcarra hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Șerban Damian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gotzon Ecija was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eutropio Berdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Eutropio Berdu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Marcel Anisie to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Marcel Anisie managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Joam Blazquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eutropio Berdu made the kick off in the second half. When Alexandru Frâncu fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Alexandru Frâncu a yellow card for diving instead. Alexandru Frâncu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. DINAMO's Marcel Anisie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Joam Blazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Anisie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutropio Berdu in the 97th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Marcel Anisie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DINAMO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
