The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gotzon Ecija showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgard Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joam Blazquez in the 11th minute of the match. Gotzon Ecija made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Francis Cesura sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Deportivo Alianza Lima. defense, Francis Cesura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gotzon Ecija. The Deportivo Alianza Lima. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gotzon Ecija should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes of play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Francis Cesura made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gotzon Ecija was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Florentino Aquejano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gotzon Ecija. The goal made the score 3-0. 28 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francis Cesura came free, but Gotzon Ecija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Celedonio Labra got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Florentino Aquejano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gotzon Ecija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Deportivo Alianza Lima. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santio Villaran to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Eutropio Berdu made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Deportivo Alianza Lima. defense, Marcial Mazule kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gotzon Ecija. Gotzon Ecija was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gotzon Ecija came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo ScrugenFC's Francis Cesura. But to his dismay, Francis Cesura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0.
