The audience thought a goal was coming when Remi Van Linthoud got free with Mariusz Pochorylo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Greenpi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kenan Utkan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kayserispor's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kenan Utkan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Greenpi's Mariusz Pochorylo did a great save. 14 minutes into the match, KS Greenpi's goalkeeper Mariusz Pochorylo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remi Van Linthoud. KS Greenpi were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Kayserispor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanislaw Rzeszutek took the corner. Stanislaw Rzeszutek made a great header on KS Greenpi's corner, it was just that Kayserispor's Erkan Sadi managed to reach the ball for a save. KS Greenpi's Mariusz Pochorylo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save KS Greenpi from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Teobald Hodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kayserispor were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after KS Greenpi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenan Utkan took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobald Hodas in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Pochorylo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Kayserispor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KS Greenpi were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislaw Rzeszutek was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Kayserispor were awarded a corner. Kenan Utkan went to the cornerflag to take it. The KS Greenpi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 88th minute, KS Greenpi's Hugon Penc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. KS Greenpi's Deng Kang Kang got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The KS Greenpi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KS Greenpi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
