Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Marco Assendelft started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 18th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk van der Werff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Assendelft blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ianis Hagi in the 30th minute of play. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Kees Mooiweer made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Marco Assendelft struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De hijgende Hertjes. In the 46th match minute, De hijgende Hertjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frits Andriessen to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henk van der Werff firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 53rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 55th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Henk van der Werff made a huge save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk van der Werff having to interfere. The throw-in from Kees Mooiweer in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by De hijgende Hertjes's Yong 典韦. De hijgende Hertjes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored to the left of an out of position Henk van der Werff, making the score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Assendelft in the 94th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match De hijgende Hertjes got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frits Andriessen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ianis Hagi made a great header on De hijgende Hertjes's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. The De hijgende Hertjes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
