Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, Croatia's Toni Mauzer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Andersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Per-Arne Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Arne Rosendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ilija Skugor made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jerry Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hille IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hille IF's Thomas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Croatia's Ilija Skugor got control of the ball when Per-Arne Rosendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. Thomas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Mauzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Blomqvist in the 33rd minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hille IF's Gilbert Olsman got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 40 played minutes Hille IF got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Pihl. In the 44th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Mauzer to maneuver through the defense. Mikael Pihl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. After the first half Croatia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toni Mauzer was the one to do the kick off. Hille IF's Thomas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Croatia booed when Hille IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Lidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Croatia's Dinko Stankovic suffered a fractured collar bone after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mikael Pihl charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Pihl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toni Mauzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Thomas Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Hille IF's Gustaf Lidman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gustaf Lidman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hille IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustaf Lidman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Thomas Andersson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Croatia's Toni Mauzer. But to his dismay, Toni Mauzer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Patrik Terzic hit a great ball. Thomas Andersson stood somewhat misplaced when Toni Mauzer came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 92 minute. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Martin Bosak hit a great ball. Fred Bivall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilija Skugor having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Croatia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Hille IF side.
