The wind increased when Simon Britz made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Bolin in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stream Sponsoren's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The referee gave Netherlands a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stream Sponsoren's Birger Påk. 0-2.
