Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lars Steen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Eneto Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Eneto Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eneto Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Oardă having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Oardă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Oardă was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Robert Andriescu had several of the Denmark's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Keld Paulsen as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of U 1974 booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to U 1974 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Moise Dudău hit a great ball. In the 34th minute of the match Lars Steen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dumitru Oardă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Denmark booed when U 1974 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Andriescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dumitru Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Balint made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. In the 65th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Skou to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Simon Bendtsen. In the 70th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Hârtopanu in the 72nd minute of play. After 77 played minutes U 1974 got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Fetea. Eneto Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. A hard shot 83 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Dumitru Oardă managed to make a qualified save. U 1974's players were relieved. After 85 minutes of play, U 1974's Octavian Hârtopanu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dumitru Oardă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 88th minute. With a little luck, U 1974's Dumitru Oardă got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Chris Nygaard fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Chris Nygaard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense. U 1974's Robert Andriescu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Octavian Hârtopanu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U 1974.
