The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 4th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Franco Andreoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Ciechocki in the 9th minute of play forced Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Janusze Futbolu's Claudio Caniglia in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 23rd minute Bruno Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Caniglia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Franco Andreoli came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudio Caniglia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sauveur in the 29th minute of the match. Cheng Xiong Ang hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Franco Andreoli came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Janusze Futbolu's Claudio Caniglia. But to his dismay, Claudio Caniglia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sportivo Mela Banco's Yin Jian Bin was substituted for Bruno Sauveur. 张学友 á Bø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Franco Andreoli made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Claudio Caniglia made the kick off in the second half. Franco Andreoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 52nd minute of the match. Janusze Futbolu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Çağdaş Quaresma in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Mela Banco's Edgard Bottin got a free kick in the 60th minute. Sportivo Mela Banco's Franco Andreoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Tagliafico in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Yin Jian Bin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yin Jian Bin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 64th playminute. Franco Andreoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Tagliafico in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel got control of the ball when Yin Jian Bin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Franco Andreoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel got control of the ball when Yin Jian Bin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Edgard Bottin in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Janusze Futbolu's Danny Carey. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yin Jian Bin got free with Peter-Michael Schmeichel in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Jian Bin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 96 played minutes Janusze Futbolu got a freekick which was hit by Kapiton Bomba. Froilan Bartolome was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Janusze Futbolu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sportivo Mela Banco for a fine match.
