Thorgan Hazard started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Austruy in the 3rd minute of play forced Aston Villa FC's goalkeeper Filiph Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes GKS CZASTARY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Merrill Pryor who took care of the corner kick. Filiph Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Austruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Amador Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Aston Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Txilar came free, but Filiph Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiph Hägg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Merrill Pryor was the one to do the kick off. Merrill Pryor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Baumar having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the match, Amador Txilar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filiph Hägg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amador Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Filiph Hägg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GKS CZASTARY's Dariusz Wojtkiewicz was substituted for Bruce Austruy. Ignacy Serwach kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GKS CZASTARY's zone, Merrill Pryor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Baumar came out of the goal and Merrill Pryor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils-Åke Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Baumar having to interfere. Filiph Hägg made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Amador Txilar sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa FC's Joel Strömberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Zachariasz Sadlowski in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Aston Villa FC's Jonas Forsberg. Filiph Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorgan Hazard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Aston Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wojtkiewicz came free, but Filiph Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiph Hägg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorgan Hazard in the 86th minute of play. Filiph Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Serwach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiph Hägg made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Amador Txilar sent off a good shot on target. After 89 played minutes Aston Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Strömberg. Waclaw Seliga struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Filiph Hägg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS CZASTARY. Arkadiusz Odachowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Filiph Hägg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aston Villa FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Isaac Kalfhage hit a great ball. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aston Villa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Waclaw Seliga was slow to take the kick. During this time GKS CZASTARY's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ignacy Serwach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filiph Hägg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. GKS CZASTARY's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
