Pojo's Teijo Okkonen got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Marvin Harrer hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Rikhard Alatalo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Auer, 1-0. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taavetti Noponen went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Austria's Fabio Schneider got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marc Kronecker hit a great ball. Kauno Timmonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Pojo booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Waismann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rikhard Alatalo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Auer came out and tried to block the shot, but Rikhard Alatalo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 21st minute. Rikhard Alatalo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 31 minutes into the game, Fabio Schneider was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pojo the free kick. After 31 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Schneider. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Taavetti Noponen sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juho Marttinen in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Harrer to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Leonhard Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikhard Alatalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rikhard Alatalo to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juho Marttinen in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Austria booed when Pojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauli Liimatainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juho Marttinen in the 61st minute of play. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taavetti Noponen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikhard Alatalo in the 65th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Austria's Leonhard Maier got a free kick in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Juho Marttinen came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Taavetti Noponen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pojo's supporters rose to their feet, but Taavetti Noponen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pojo made a substitution. Onni Varis replaced Maunu Laaksonen. 76 minutes into the game, Taavetti Noponen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taavetti Noponen in the 80th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rikhard Alatalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Taavetti Noponen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Auer was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Taavetti Noponen took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, Austria's Christian Wallner got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Leonhard Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taavetti Noponen struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pojo.
