The Junkyard
Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Junkyard Dogs's Ozzy Falkingham started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Ozzy Falkingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Rusil's late challenge caught a Junkyard Dogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Rusil helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's David Rusil got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Junkyard Dogs booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohumir Kohout didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conal Downton got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Czech Republic's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ozzy Falkingham 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Dalimil Charvat kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Falkingham in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Ozzy Falkingham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Vince Easton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. When Vince Easton came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Junkyard Dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vince Easton couldn't finish the play. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vince Easton in the 28th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Junkyard Dogs's Vavrinec Holub threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ozzy Falkingham, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 32 minutes, Kvetoslav Janku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the Junkyard Dogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ozzy Falkingham took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Vavrinec Holub to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Junkyard Dogs's Graeme Granger was substituted for Vince Easton. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Candeloro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Jilek got free with Ernesto Candeloro in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Falkingham in the 58th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Junkyard Dogs got a freekick which was hit by Guilian Hunaerts. 64 minutes into the match, Graeme Granger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graeme Granger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Falkingham in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Junkyard Dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ozzy Falkingham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Graeme Granger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Ozzy Falkingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Ozzy Falkingham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Junkyard Dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 86 played minutes Junkyard Dogs got a freekick which was hit by Victor Toulalan. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graeme Granger in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute Graeme Granger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzy Falkingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Junkyard Dogs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
