Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maxi Peternell started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Kenn Skou got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Patrick Hemmel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Hemmel came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Hemmel who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Stefan Sinn to score against Keld Paulsen in Denmark's goal. 1-0 after 13 minutes. In the 21st minute of the match Lars Steen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timo Austerer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, CF Korneuburg's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Timo Austerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Austerer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxi Peternell, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Hemmel in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute of the match, Stefan Sinn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Keld Paulsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 42 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ludvigsen. 42 minutes into the match, CF Korneuburg's Patrick Hemmel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Sinn came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Theis Winther mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the CF Korneuburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for CF Korneuburg. Patrick Hemmel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keld Paulsen. 3-0. In the 62nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Hastenteufel in the 64th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timo Austerer saved CF Korneuburg from getting behind. In the 74th minute of the game Kenn Skou made a throw-in which Bertram Svenningsen played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxi Peternell in the 76th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the game's 77th minute Denmark's Lars Steen took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Timo Austerer and thus the score was 3-1. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to CF Korneuburg getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Stefan Sinn hit a great ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF Korneuburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Schuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 89 minutes into the game, CF Korneuburg's Christian Schuster nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 94 minutes of play, CF Korneuburg's Maxi Peternell made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denmark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
