Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Santiago in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Vile FC booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert McNeill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Torres's late challenge caught a Scotland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Torres helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Scotland's Alexander Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Scotland from getting a goal against them. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avelino Aires in the 13th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Elias Barroso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alexander Higgins to make any attempt to save it. 18 minutes into the match, Zacarias Santiago dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexander Higgins, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Vile FC's Evandro Salazar got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Vile FC booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fletcher Main didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Adelino Aires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Elias Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vile FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Barroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Higgins made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Avelino Aires sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes in the game, Zacarias Santiago fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Adelino Aires might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Higgins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Aires ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Santiago in the 48th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Avelino Aires made a kick off. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avelino Aires went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When Vile FC's Avelino Aires in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scotland's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Zacarias Santiago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Zacarias Santiago scored 7-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avelino Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Barroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Higgins came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Vile FC's Zacarias Santiago. But to his dismay, Zacarias Santiago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 75th minute Zacarias Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vile FC's Avelino Aires in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scotland's goalie prevented a goal. If Adelino Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Scotland's Jack MacKinnon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jack MacKinnon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Scotland protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jack MacKinnon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After having played for 83 minutes, Avelino Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vile FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avelino Aires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adelino Aires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Higgins having to make a save. In the 88th minute Avelino Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Santiago in the 89th minute of the match. If Jorge Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Santiago scored 9-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vile FC had played much better football throughout.
