El Millo de Haedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after El Millo de Haedo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. In the 8th minute, Aurelio Aureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fernando Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. Fernando Ruisko came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rogelio Orlondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Fernando Ruisko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balazs Lajos went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Hungary booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Orlondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 33rd minute of the match. Fernando Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 37th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Ruisko having to interfere. Hungary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Hernán Crespo scored to the left of an out of position Fodor Daniel, making the score, 1-3. In the 44th minute, El Millo de Haedo's Hernán Crespo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. After the first half Hungary were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Gonzalez in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remigio Uhin was slow to take the kick. During this time El Millo de Haedo's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on El Millo de Haedo's corner Alejo Uhin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Hernán Crespo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Ruisko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Hegedus Henrik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Ruisko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 74th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernán Crespo in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Fernando Ruisko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remigio Uhin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Fernando Ruisko, a very annoying self made goal in the 79th minute which led to 2-6. Major Barna was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fernando Ruisko made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Fernando Ruisko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hegedus Henrik. Takacs Tibor took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Ruisko. Fernando Ruisko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7.
