Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dida Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Balazs Lajos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Taffarel was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Takacs Tibor might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dida Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Takacs Tibor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 14th minute of the match. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dida Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Jenipapo SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 24th minute, Takacs Tibor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Taffarel having to interfere. Giovanni Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Major Barna put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dida Taffarel. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Dida Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Hortêncio Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jenipapo SC's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dida Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovanni Motta to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dida Taffarel, 0-5. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Jenipapo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Major Barna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dida Taffarel. That made the score 0-6 in the 60 minute of play. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 64th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Paraíba. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dida Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dida Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Takacs Tibor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 77 minute of play. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Taffarel having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 95th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jenipapo SC throughout the match.
