The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Velasques in the 7th minute of play forced ATLETICO TOSODELMA's goalkeeper Romeo Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Fertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Velasques in the 7th minute. Eustacio Gurutz's late challenge caught a Ɍυƒυs™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 9 played minutes, Ɍυƒυs™'s Alex Arruda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romeo Fertus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ɍυƒυs™ reached it. Saúl Soveral struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Romeo Fertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ɍυƒυs™. 15 minutes into the match, Ɍυƒυs™'s Paulino Velasques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Fertus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Saúl Soveral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Romeo Fertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horácio Caiado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Matro in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, one of Ɍυƒυs™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ɍυƒυs™:s Horácio Caiado showed great skill when he stopped Eustacio Gurutz:s penalty. 25 minutes into the match, Eustacio Gurutz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ɍυƒυs™'s Horácio Caiado. Horácio Caiado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raul Espírito Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Romeo Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Velasques might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Fertus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulino Velasques ran back to his position shaking his head. Romeo Fertus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raul Espírito Santo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. If Silverio Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Matro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Caiado having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iker Matro to make the kick off. A collision led to ATLETICO TOSODELMA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Silverio Ritchie hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Raul Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raul Espírito Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Paulino Velasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ɍυƒυs™'s much stronger midfield.
