In the 3rd minute, Flávio Perdigão made a precise shot to the right of Jere Klein. Spartans FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jere Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Perdigão in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flávio Perdigão in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jere Klein saved Spartans FC from getting behind. Aristides Fragoso charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Fragoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aristides Fragoso kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Idalécio Rego was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aldo Quilempan. Zacarias Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jere Klein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Perdigão in the 22nd minute of play forced Spartans FC's goalkeeper Jere Klein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Gonzalo Tapia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jere Klein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flávio Perdigão's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. With a little luck, StrikerS™'s Idalécio Rego got control of the ball when José Pedro Fuenzalida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Spartans FC's Gonzalo Tapia managed to work through StrikerS™'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gonzalo Tapia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Gonzalo Tapia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Tapia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idalécio Rego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Sierralta in the 41st minute of play forced StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Idalécio Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jere Klein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flávio Perdigão's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half StrikerS™ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Joaquim Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. StrikerS™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jere Klein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Fragoso to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Spartans FC got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Fuenzalida. After 66 played minutes StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Santos. Zacarias Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jere Klein when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aldo Quilempan hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Cassiano Castanheira. After 89 played minutes Spartans FC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Sierralta. In the 90th minute of the match Abílio Soeiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jere Klein showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jere Klein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Perdigão, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. StrikerS™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
